Good News in Badenoch and Strath Spey

If you are interested in what's going on regarding Gaelic in the Badenoch and Strath Spey area you should read 'Cuairt-Litir Sinne' (The 'Sinne' News Letter).

'Sinne', which is the Gaelic for 'Us', is a community group which have organised many events and activities since they began over 5 ago to encourage Gaelic in the area.

The newsletter is bilingual and within the six pages you will find good mix of information.  Inside this quarters issue is a mix of interesting and fun information, Gaelic place names in the area, a T-shirt competition and a heritage project Sinne and the Strath Spey Historical Society are developing about the war poet Iain Ruadh Stewart.  As well as that there is information about the events activities Sinne have scheduled between now and the end of the year in the area.

To get a hold of a copy of the newsletter membership of the group is required which can be received by sending a cheque payable to 'Sinne' for an annual membership fee of £5 or £3 for concessions to Sinne Treasurer Marian Emsley, 10 Manse Road, Kingussie, PH23 3AZ. Phone - 01540 662 246
